Rose Ethel Wall was the sixth child of Henry Edward Wall & Emma Rosanna Kettle born April 20th, 1887 & christened January 11th, 1891 at St John's, West Bromwich.
Rose was living at 9 Paradise St, West Bromwich with her parents & brothers & sisters at the time of the 1891 census.
Rose was still living at home in Paradise St in 1901 & at the age of 13 she was a dress maker’s apprentice.
In 1911 (Rose) Ethel was still with her parents at Paradise St & she was now a milliner.
The 1939 register shows Ethel still single & living at 34 Hargate St, West Bromwich, where she was a milliner at a wholesale factory. It was noted on the register that she became Ethel Brown & there is a marriage for Ethel R Wall & Arthur H Brown in Jan-March 1952 in Birmingham.
Ethel died in Jan-March 1974 in Birmingham aged 86.
