Thomas Barnett was the third of eleven children born to William and Mary Barnett & christened at St Andrew's, Bradfield, Berks, on April 24, 1717.
A licence was granted for Thomas Barnett of Remenham, Berkshire and Ann Newbury,
also of Remenham, Berkshire, to marry at Reading St Lawrence on April 27,
1753. Ann was the daughter of Thomas & Mary Newbury christened March 15th,
1719 at Remenham.
The parish records show that their daughter Anne sadly only lived a few days.
Thomas was a respected member of the community, & was church warden from at least 1789 until shortly before his death.
Ann died November 19th, 1801at the age 83 & was buried on November 23rd at Remenham.

Thomas died on December 26th, 1803 in Remenham, aged 85 years,
and was buried at St Nicholas churchyard next to Ann on December 31, 1803.
