George Daniel Jones Freeth was the fifth child of George Freeth & Ann Jones born July-September, 1864 at Tipton, Staffs.
In 1871 George & his parents, brothers & sisters were living at 2 Glad. Terr, Wednesbury where father George was a foreman at the railway.
In 1881 George was still at home at 45 High St, Smethwick, Staffs & he was employed as a warehouseman.
George married Ann Wilkes (known as Annie) in 1887 at Kings Norton. Annie was born May 16th, 1868 in Belfast, Ireland, the daughter of Elizabeth & Thomas Wilkes.
By the time of the 1891 census George & Annie were living at 47 Market St, Smethwick & they had a daughter Rosannah, aged 1. George was an iron warehouseman.
In 1901 George, Annie & Rosanna were still living at Smethwick, now at 77 Tiverton Rd. George was still an iron warehouseman.
George & Annie were living at 56 Bertram Rd, Smethwick in 1911 & George was a coach axle packer at a coach axles & iron makers. Daughter Rosanna(h) was still at home & working as a clerk at a cake manufacturers.
Daughter Rosanna married Henry Rowland Bonham, a traffic inspector, in July-September 1912 at Kings Norton, Worcs.
George died in Jan-March 1939, aged 74, at Smethwick. At the time of the 1939 census widowed Ann was living on her own still at 56 Bertram Rd, Smethwick.
