Louisa Freeth was the ninth child of Edwin Freeth & Thomason Ann Collins born July-September, 1883 at Smethwick, Staffs.
In 1891 Louisa was at home with her parents, 6 brothers & 3 sisters at 36 Victoria St, Smethwick.
Louisa was still at home at 15 Victoria St in 1901 with her widowed mother, 3 brothers & a sister. Louisa & her sister Georgina were both bolt wormers. (The worm of the bolt is the spiral part.)
Louisa married Harry Harris in Jan-March 1905 at St Paul’s, Smethwick. Harry was born May 7th, 1881 in Worcs.
In 1911 Louisa & Harry were living at 14 Fraser St, Oldbury & Harry was an electrician at the wagon works. They had 2 children – Beatrice May (5) & Harry (3).
Louisa & Harry had 5 children between 1913 & 1923.
Louisa died some time before 1939 when widowed Harry was still living at 14 Fraser St, Oldbury. He was described as an unemployed electrician & with him were daughter Beatrice, a steel tube works power press operator, & sons George R, a driller & Arthur C, a labourer seamless steel tube.
Son Edwin had married Mary E Wainwright in 1934 & in 1939 they & their son Ronald E were living in Queens Rd, Oldbury & Edwin was a steel tube packer.
The following year daughter Beatrice married Horace Richards in Smethwick.
