Hannah Horton was the eighth child of Henry Horton & Esther Lines christened October 11th, 1818 at All Saints, West Bromwich. Staffs.
Hannah married John Wilkinson on May 23rd, 1836 at St Bartholemew, Wednesbury, Staffs.
The christening record of John & Sarah’s daughter in 1838 shows that John was a miner.
In 1841 Hannah & her daughter Sarah (3) were with Hannah's parents at Walsall St, West Bromwich. It appears that Sarah & John no longer lived together. John was living with his parents, Sarah & William Wilkinson in Ling Lane, West Bromwich. He was still with them at the time of the 1851 census & living alone in Frederic St, West Bromwich in 1861 when he was still a miner & listed as married. He died in Oct-December 1870 in West Bromwich.
Hannah (Anna on census) was still living with her parents at Walsall St in 1851 with daughter Sarah. Hannah was a tailoress, as was her mother.
In 1861 Hannah was still with her elderly parents at Walsall St. With them was Hannah’s daughter, Sarah who had married George Stephens, a 22 year old iron roller, in 1860.
There is a death recorded for Hannah Wilkinson, aged 50, in July-September 1869 at West Bromwich.
