Jane Pallister was the eleventh child of William Speed Pallister & Mary Bellwood born June 29th, 1884 at Seghill, Northumberland.
In 1891 Jane was living at home with her parents & brothers & sisters at 26 Melton Terr, New Hartley, Seaton Delaval, Northumberland.
The family had moved by 1901, they were now at 1 North View, Wallbottle, Tyneside and Jane was still living at home.
Jane married John Henry Allison in Oct-December 1902 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne. John was born May 17th, 1879 at Gateshead, Durham.
In 1911 Jane & John (known as Jack) were living at 3 North View, Walbottle. Jack was a colliery winding engineman & he & Jane had had 2 children by this time, both of whom had died.
The 1939 register shows Jane & Jack living at 19 Rogerson Terrace, Newburn & Jack was still a colliery winding engineman (heavy worker).
The 1939 register shows daughter Doris & husband Thomas Patrick Kelly living at 20 Moor St, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where Thomas was a steel planer at a gun shop. They had a 2 year old son named after his father, Thomas P. Doris had married Thomas (who was 10 years older than Doris) in the parish of Gretna, Glasgow on January 4th, 1930.
