Ann & her parents were living at Isabella St. in 1851 & Ann had 2 brothers & a sister.
Ann’s mother died in 1859 & in 1861 she was living with her widowed father, sister & brother at Isabella St.
Ann, a minor, married Samuel Spurdens, a tinplate worker, on December 20th, 1868 at St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex. Samuel was born May 8th, 1845 & christened August 30th, 1857 at St Thomas, Lambeth, the son of Sarah Westhrop & William Spurdens, a tinplate worker.
In 1871 Ann & Samuel were living at Isabella St, Lambeth & Samuel was a tinplate worker. They had 2 elderly lady lodgers.
Ann died in Jan-March 1878, aged 29, at Lambeth after giving birth to her fourth child who also sadly died.

Samuel married again on October 12th, 1879 at St, Paul’s, St Mary Newington. His second wife was 19 year old spinster, Mary Eliza Stroud.
In 1881 Samuel & his new wife Mary Eliza were living at 35 Farmers Road, Lambeth & Samuel was still a tinplate worker. There were 3 children at home – Elizabeth A (6), Jane Georgiana (4) from Samuel's first marriage & Dorothy Maude (1).
Samuel & Mary Eliza were living at 32 Herring St, Camberwell, London in 1891 & Samuel was in the same job. Children at home were Elizabeth, Jane, Maude, Clara (8), Samuel E (6), Frederick (4), Ellen L (2) & Florence (2 months).
By 1901 the family were living at 28 Leroy St, Bermondsey & Samuel was still a tinplate worker.
Mary Eliza died in Oct-December 1901, aged 39, at Southwark.
In 1911 widowed Samuel was a patient at Lower Rd, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey Infirmary, London & described as a tinplate worker, box maker.
Samuel died on October 28th, 1913 at Camberwell.
Daughter Elizabeth Ann married Charles Henry Hall in November 1935 at Lambeth Registry Office.
