Jacob married Hannah Coates on May 8th 1790 at Penshaw, Co Durham. Hannah was of the parish of Houghton-le-Spring. Hannah was born at Newbottle & christened January 1st, 1764 at St Michael & All Angels, Houghton-le-Spring, the daughter of Sarah & George Coates.
Jacob worked as an engineman at New Lambton, Co Durham.
Jacob died on June 1st, 1824 at Quality Row, Chester-le-Street & was buried June 5th, 1824 at Chester-le-Street.
