Eliz(s)abeth married John Smith, a yeoman, on June 13th, 1774 at Appleton Wiske, N. Yorks. Witnesses at the wedding were George Taylor & Michael Meek (church warden). John was christened March 28th, 1731 at Welbury son of James Smith, yeoman. John’s brother William had married Elizabeth’s sister Mary in 1770.
John, aged 83, was buried on March 12th, 1814 at St Leonard’s, Welbury.
Elizabeth died in 1830 aged 81 & was buried on October 14th at St Leonard’s, Welbury.
