Ann Pallister [p.1.6.4]

Ann Pallister was the fourth child of Peter Pallister & Hannah Garthwaite christened February 26th, 1759 at All Saints, Lanchester, Co. Durham.

Ann married Robert Curtis on October 4th, 1790 at Lanchester after the reading of Banns.

Ann died on May 3rd 1802, aged 42 & was buried May 6th 1802 at All Saints, Lanchester. At the time of her death she was described as of Greencroft, Lanchester. Intriguingly her burial record states only that she is the daughter of Peter Pallister & no reference is made to her husband Robert. To date no record of Robert's death has been found.

The late Ann was mentioned in the will of her brother Cuthbert Pallister which was written in 1822. The children of Ann were to receive some monies on Cuthbert's death if his daughter Margaret did not have any children.
