Robert Lister was the sixth child of William Lister & Elisabeth Metcalf christened May 26th, 1754 at Welbury, N. Yorks
Robert married Jane Garnett on April 9th 1787 at Appleton Wiske, N. Yorks. Witnesses at the wedding were Dorothy Tate & William Chipsis (church warden).
Jane died aged 73 & was buried on June 4th, 1833 at St Leonard’s, Welbury.
Robert, aged 81, died on January 22nd,1836 & was buried on January 24th at St Leonard’s, Welbury.
