Edmund Winder was the second child of Edmund Winder & Elizabeth Style born December 15th, 1787 at Burnham Abbey Farm, christened January 15th, 1788 at St Peter's Burnham.
Edmund married Elizabeth Rowls on July 12th, 1821 at St Clement Danes, Westminster. Witnesses at the wedding were S Carrington & George Ewington jnr. Elizabeth was christened March 31st, 1793 at St Thomas, Southwark, Surrey, the daughter of Elizabeth & Stephen Rowls (Rolls).
Edmund & Elizabeth's marriage
Edmund died in April 1830 & was buried April 15th, 1830 at St Peters, Burnham. His will was as follows:
In the name of God, amen. I Edmund Winder of Burnham in the county of
Buckingham Mealman being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make this
my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say I
give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth Winder all my xxxcotton,
furnishings, the small parcel of land which I purchased of Mr Richard Cleare
and all and singular my xxxxx xxx personal estate and effects whatsoever and
wheresoever and of what nature xxxxxx xxx the same shall consist at my decease
to hold unto and to the use of my said wife Elizabeth and heirs,executors,
administrators and xxx for over xxxxsubject xxxxx and I do hereby charge my
said personal estate to and with the payment of unjust debts, funeral and
testamentory expenses and also to and with the payment of the following legacies
That is to say, the sum of ten pounds xxxx unto my four dear sisters, Martha
Winder, Charlotte Winder, Anna Bathsheba Winder and Maria Winder and which
said legacies I do hereby give and bequeath unto them my said four sisters
accordingly to be paid to them respective within six calendar months next
after my decease and I do nominate constitute and appoint my said wife sole
executrix of this my last will and testament. Hereby xxxing and making void
all and every other will or wills at any time by me therefore made and do
declare this to be my last will and testament.
xxxxx whereof I the said Edmund Winder the testator have xxxxx set my hand
and seal this twenty eigth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and twenty nine, Edmund Winder signed, sealed, published and
beloved by the above named Edmund Winder the testator as and for his last
will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence
and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses xxxx

There is a death recorded for Elizabeth Winder aged 44 in 1836 who was buried on December 2nd at St Peter's, Burnham.
In 1841 it was agreed that Edmund’s brother Robert Winder & sister-in-law Sarah Ewington (nee Rowls) should administer the will.
On the 27th January 1841 Admon with the will annexed of the goods chattelsand
xxxx of Edmund Winder, late of Burnham in the county of Buckingham deceased
was granted to Robert Winder the natural and lawful brother and one of the
next of kin of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to Administer
Elizabeth Winder widow the relict the sole executrix and residuary legatee
named in the said will bid without having proved the same at least in this
court and Sarah Ewington widow, the daughter and surviving executor of the
will of Stephen Rowls deceased whilst living the natural and lawful father
and next of kin of the said Elizabeth Winder who died intestate having first
renounced the letters of admon with the said will administered of the goods
of the said Edmund Winder deceased as by xxxx of court appears.
